UFC legend Anderson Silva open to Jake Paul fight: 'Everything is possible'

UFC legend Anderson Silva is open to a fight against YouTube sensation Jake Paul.

The 46-year-old told TMZ Sports that he plans to continue fighting until he's 49 and would be willing to fight Paul, who he says is doing good work for boxing.

"Everything is possible. Jake Paul and Logan are doing a lot of good work in this new entertaining show. We'll see. Everything is possible," Silva said. "I respect both. [Jake] is doing good, working hard. So, we'll see, maybe this is possible too."

Paul just beat Tyron Woodley via split decision, and Anderson is scheduled to fight Tito Ortiz on Sept. 11. Anderson also defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. via split decision in June.

In addition to Jake Paul, Anderson could also fight his brother, Logan. The Brazilian's manager, Jeff Levin, told ESPN's Mike Coppinger in July that Paul and Anderson were discussing a match that could take place later this year.

Logan Paul has only one official fight in his boxing career: a split-decision loss to fellow internet personality KSI. Silva, meanwhile, has 34 professional MMA wins and won the UFC middleweight championship in 2006, holding the belt for 2,457 days, a record for the longest reign in UFC history.
