UFC president Dana White has seen it all, but UFC Vegas 89 presented an interesting moment.
During a bout between flyweights Andre Lima and Igor Severino, Severino put the chomp down on Lima.
Literally.
Asthe two were up against the fence in the clinch, Severino bit his left arm. Lima immediately motioned to the referee what happened. Following a video review, Severino was disqualified and Lima awarded the win.

White did not take long to cut the previously unbeaten fighter.
“Those were two up-and-coming undefeated fighters,” White told Kevin Iole. “If you get frustrated and want out of the fight, there are plenty of ways to do it. But the worst thing (you) can do is bite your opponent.
“Now, you get cut and lose the biggest opportunity of your life. Not to mention, he’s going to have real problems with the NSAC.”
Both fighters were making their UFC debuts from the Apex in Las Vegas. They both had been on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Lima was also awarded a special bonus from White.
