Eleven players have officially left Liverpool after reaching the end of their contracts.

Former first-team stars James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all became free agents this summer.

Their contracts with the Reds expired on June 30.

Milner and Keita had already signed pre-contract deals elsewhere and will join Brighton and Werder Bremen respectively this summer, while  Firmino is reportedly likely to move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's future is less clear but the former Arsenal midfielder has also been linked with a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia.

Milner made 332 appearances for the Reds over eight seasons.

Firmino also spent eight years at Anfield, scoring 111 goals in 362 games.

Keita played 129 matches for Liverpool over five seasons, while Oxlade-Chamberlain appeared in 146 games across six campaigns.

The rest of the players released by Liverpool this week were all youth-teamers.

Jack Bearne, Liam Hughes, Charlie Hayes-Green, Oscar Kelly, Fidel O'Rourke, Oludare Olunfunwa and Iwan Roberts will now look to continue their careers away from Anfield.
